The extensive woodcock coverts and snipe bogs provide excellent sport. Duck of many varieties abound on the Shannon and Fergus estuaries close by. The Dromoland Driven Pheasant Shoot in the demesne is one of the top driven shoots in Ireland. Three to five hundred bird days are available. Duck and Partridge can also be found on the estate.
